Therapy Glow

For When Insight
Hasn't Been Enough.

Integration-focused psychotherapy for people ready to move from understanding to lived emotional and relational change.

A brief consultation call to explore fit and next steps.

Does this sound familiar?

  • You've done the work — read the books, tried therapy — and you still feel stuck
  • You can explain your patterns, but you can't seem to stop repeating them
  • Burnout keeps returning, even after rest
  • You've had experiences — spiritual, psychedelic, overwhelming — you can't make sense of
  • You're mentally clear but emotionally unchanged

This work is for people who've outgrown insight without integration.

Ari A. Leal

MA, MPA, RMHCI — Psychotherapist & Researcher

Many of the people I work with are not new to therapy. They've reflected, read, and gained insight — yet their reactions, relationships, or inner tension keep repeating.

My role is not only to understand your story, but to help your understanding begin to change how you live.

I work from a depth-oriented and integrative framework. The focus is the transition from insight to embodiment — where patterns reorganize rather than simply become clearer.

My training includes graduate study at Northwestern University, earlier academic work at Rutgers, and ongoing study in trauma research, contemplative psychology, and the integration of significant or non-ordinary experiences.

You bring the parts of yourself that already understand. Together we work toward the part that can live differently.

What Makes This Different

Sacred Individuality

No protocol-first approaches. This work starts with you — your patterns, history, and the specific places where change hasn't yet landed. Structure follows understanding, not the other way around.

Depth & Integration

Rooted in psychodynamic wisdom, enriched by mindfulness, somatics, neuroscience, and existential insight. This work bridges the timeless with the evolving — moving beyond technique to something more alive.

Embodied Liberation

For those shaped by systemic injustice, inherited trauma, or identity-based harm, insight alone often isn't enough. The mind may understand what happened, while the body and relationships continue to organize around it. This work meets both.

The Glow

Not surface-level positivity, but the steadiness that comes when insight begins to change how you live. A quieter confidence — reactions slowing, choices widening, and a growing sense of being able to meet life as it happens.

I Practice What I Teach

I'm a clinician, researcher, and someone who has done — and continues to do — this work from the inside. I don't ask you to go anywhere I haven't been willing to go myself. That matters.

A Note on Coaching

Looking for coaching?

Coaching and mentorship are offered through a separate practice — Ari Leal, LLC — kept distinct from the clinical work of Therapy Glow. It is forward-looking, goal-oriented support for life transitions and personal growth, and it is not therapy or a clinical service.

In Their Words

"I've done therapy. I've done the books, the workshops, the retreats. I could tell you exactly why I am the way I am. None of it stopped me from doing it again. This is the first work that actually moved something. I notice it in my body before I notice it in my head — which, for me, is the whole point."

— MR

"I came in carrying an experience I couldn't talk about anywhere else. Other therapists either pathologized it or got uncomfortable. Ari didn't do either. She held it like it was real, because it was, and helped me find what it was asking of me. I finally feel like that part of my life belongs to me instead of haunting it."

— DK

"My partner and I had the same fight for nine years. We knew the pattern. We could name it mid-fight. We still couldn't stop. Something shifted here — not because we learned a new technique, but because we started seeing what was underneath it on both sides. We don't fight that fight anymore. I don't fully understand how that happened, but it did."
