The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. I'll ask about what brings you to therapy, your history, and what you're hoping to achieve. You'll also have a chance to ask me questions and see if we're a good fit.
The length of therapy varies depending on your goals and the issues we're addressing. Some people find relief in just a few months, while others benefit from longer-term work. We'll regularly check in about your progress.
I can provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement. Many insurance plans cover a portion of out-of-network mental health services. I recommend contacting your insurance provider to understand your benefits.
Therapy focuses on healing, understanding patterns, and addressing mental health concerns. Coaching is more goal-oriented and focused on specific outcomes. We can discuss which approach is right for you.
